How to configure a Schedule?
At CourServ you can configure a schedule to send specific text messages to
one or more people. For best flexibility this must be done on the website. You can also use your mobile
to send a Text Command to CourServ so that a text message
is sent by sms to someone or group of people at a specific time in the future.
Using the website you can create One Off, hourly, daily, weekly or monthly schedules.

How to broadcast SMS?
By creating contacts and placing contacts in different groups you will be able to use a contact name instead
of a mobile number to send sms. No need to send many sms to reach different people. Once the contacts and groups are created, it becomes easy to reach a group of people. At churches and other organisations you have differnet committees that you need to contact from time to time. With CourServ you only need to create these contacts and groups on the
system once and you will be able to reach them at anytime and at any place directly from your Mobile Phone. Once registered you only need to
go to the contact menu to setup your contacts.

How to configure your software to send SMS alerts
Many software systems whether a Doctor Appointment System or a Network Managemt System
allow you to send email alerts to a patient, customer or a technician. By using the
Email to Sms Service you are able to convert these emails to SMS automatically
so instead of an email alert, the person will receive an SMS. This is a much quicker
and better way to alert someone about an emergency or an appointment. No need to purchase any additional
devices. The only requirement is a connection to the Internet and membership with CourServ.

Maximum size of a SMS message
A standard text message has a maximum length of 160 characters.
With CourServ, you can send a Text message with a maximum of 459 characters.
We do this by joining up to 3 standard SMS messages into a single one message. When a message exceeds 160 characters the maximum size of
each sms contains 153 characters as 7 characters are used for managment purposes.
Each SMS is charged seperately, so the cost of sending 459
characters is 3 times the cost of a single Standard SMS.

feature on the side bar.

Can a person reply to an SMS message?
Yes! CourServ gives the user a lot of flexibility. You can determine whether you
want to receive the reply in the form of an SMS by simply configuring your profile.
You can also configure a Contact as a trusted person so that you will always receive
sms reply from this person.
CourServ nevertheless allows you to receive every reply as an email message at no
charge. It should be noted that the user will be charged for every SMS received
from a non-user.
