How to use Email for sending SMS and Fax
Email to Sms
The format for an SMS destination is xxxxxxx.sms@courserv.com Generally xxxxxxx
represent a Mobile Number in the International format without the Plus(+) Sign.
xxxxxxx can also represent a contact name or group name.
Both the subject and the body of the email will be sent as SMS. It is important that the text in the email
be short as possible to reduce the cost of sending the message.
Examples of email addresses for sending SMS:
- 26772999999.sms@courserv.com where 26772999999 represent the a valid Botswana
mobile number
- danny.sms@courserv.com where danny represent a contact with a valid Mobile
Number.
- committee.sms@courserv.com where committee represent a group of contacts
with valid Mobile Numbers.

Email to Fax
The format for a fax destination is xxxxxxx.fax@courserv.com Where xxxxxxx
represent a Fax number based on the International format without the Plus(+) Sign.
The Body and the attachment in the email will be faxed. The attachment must be any
standard document such as text, Microsoft Word, pdf or html.
In order to use this service the email address of the sender must be registered.
